I’m fuming because the very thing I already complained about, surly uncooperative drivers who refuse to deliver to the door. This restaurant is highly overrated. The fish had very little batter and the chips were cold. I had to wait a long time to be served because online customers seemed to be the priority. Real customers were treated poorly.
We live right around the corner from Mr Chips and typically visit about once every six weeks. The food is fantastic, especially the fish, and the staff are top-notch. They even remembered that we were going on holiday from our last visit. Mr Chips never disappoints. Thank you.
I bought fish and chips for dinner and was excited to eat them, but I was very disappointed. The chips were pale and the fish was undercooked. The only positive was the kind and friendly lady who served me.
I do love the fish and chips from here. Still doing covid19 restrictions but not any problem to wait outside while the fish is cooked to order. Best chips I have had in years. Crispy battered fish is lovely.
As title says, great chippy to have nearby, gpod value, great staff, all positive feedback from me :
