I phoned 2.5 hours after the order was placed only to be told by the gentleman on the other end of the line why didn 't you call 1 hour ago to say your food hasn 't arrived . For two reasons; the first and foremost being: Why should this be the customers responsibility? And the second being: we have ordered from here over 30 times before and it has literally taken two hours to arrive previously, so we chose to wait it out as we understand it can get busy. After some time insisting to the man on the other end of the line that the food never actually arrived I was accused of scamming the takeaway out of.... wait for it... £17.40. After another 10 minutes, and after we had ordered food from elsewhere, the same man called back saying he accepted they hadn 't actually delivered the food and he could get some food out to us in 10 minutes ... despite the fact the takeaway is a 10 minute drive away. Needless to say I declined the offer and ordered food from elsewhere. It 's such a shame that we were treated with such reverence and disrespect over £17.40... and after spending hundreds of pounds for many years. This will be the last time I order food from this abhorrent takeaway. Iif this stops at least one person from ordering here I will be happy. Adieu.
