Lee the barm... read more I went to the pub yesterday evening to watch the football and have some food. The food was average, service was fast but most staff was unfriendly. Lee the barman very friendly, polite, above and beyond and always hardworking. However I experienced anti-Semitism from 2 young girls and don't feel safe enough to go back. Which I find highly upsetting because it's been mine and families local for over 10 years. In response to the reply, I was brought out a drink of warm water. I was left by myself, which was led to future harassment by the girls. The manager came out and moved me to the sheltered outdoor seating, near other customers. I was still shaking and still being coached out of a anxiety attack. I was assured by the manager that I'd not receive threatening or confrontational behaviour from the parents. Only to have one of the mothers storm over to me and tower over me, with her face right in mine and have threatening behaviours towards myself. The lady shouted down the phone to my career her address, which is close to mine. Being that I was still being talked out of a anxiety attack and tried to stress this to the manager was pushed back to my career. My career advised me to stay until I felt calm and safe to stay.

I settled for the hand battered fish with some bread and butter and extra gravy. I've got to say, not only was the service bang on but the food was smashing! Proper filled a gap and then some! This place is really cool and my order came at about noon! Really nice staff, nice location and literally gorgeous food! Can't recommend enough

Prices ok for this... read more Enjoyed a family meal and catch up and the food was OK. Two of us had steak and said it wasn't a good quality, but everything else was fine. Prices ok for this type of pub food. Food was served up reasonably warm. No hot drinks available other than tea, which was a shame.
