Waipo - Stockholm

Not many dimsum options in central Stockholm, so it’s good to have the yumcha menu here, available daily until 1600. Chasiu was not as expected, it was more like soft braised pork. Great flavours from the century egg pork congee, but the portion was relatively small. The deep fried wu gok and ham sui gok were standout favourites. Steamed options like xiaolongbao were ok, good standard comfort bites. Noodle dishes were well fried with wok hei. Onto desserts, we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the egg tarts were. The custard was almost molten, and the pastry was fluffy and hot.

Good fine-dine experience. for the 8-course vegan tasting menu. the starters and the deserts were great. the main dishes were good. service and ambiente were also beautiful.

We went there to honor restuarent waipo big and to communicate in English. also a very beautiful place decoration. when I had eaten more chili, I asked that at least chili. all great 10 10

I wanted to test her brunch menu, so it went there on Sunday. place was empty, which was a little suspicious, but stroked around 12.30 ordered different types of dressed and all were excellent. Wife is Chinese so very picky, but she was very happy with the taste and quality of eating. staff very friendly and service fast and efficient. they even had a novelty robot that surrounds orders.

We had the sunday duck menu. well prepared Chinese cuisine with balanced and refined taste. my favorites were the pekings and the peaceful one with sweet. my friend loved the suppe. desserts were western style. the place is very well designed with a great ambiente. it was just that we had preferred the pekings to be a little crispy and the dishes are served with a little less waiting time.
