Usually located in the old Östermalms Hall, they are currently in a temporary establishment across the street. The restaurant always offers fresh and delicious seafood. The service is fast and friendly. I recommend trying all the dishes, but my personal favorite is the Toast Skagen paired with a refreshing glass of Sancerre! View all feedback.

Beautiful place, but the layout could be better (menu, write and seat area are all at different locations). they are good, but they are prefabricated that should work better on the prices.
Swedish means tysta mari calmly mary. as quiet as this restaurant founder would have been again today, the only quiet the echo will be the empty of her wallet when they paid the bill that I had long been addicted to Scandinavia's openly grounded garnel sandwiches. in the course of the years I have eaten at least a few hundred of them in whole Swedish, norweg and Denmark. So when that asked me to come in the Swedish capital the other day, I went to the next caviar, because what I hoped would be a tasty, affordable fixation. this place was tysta mari a caf/restaurant in stockholms premier indoor market, stermalmshallen. but young, what a costly choice that is as hospitable at tysta mari, they put and receive their order at the theke. most other restaurants on this market have table service, but not tysta mari. the owners have clearly stated that by eliminating the service from the customer experience and by calling for a caf continuing to table service prices, the expectations of the guests are lowered, the personal costs are minimized and the profitability is maximized. I understand that after asking a sandwich and a beer, a casser my order monotonously repeated like a robot. but even a robot can be programmed to say, thank you or at least wish me a pleasant eating. if this sad interaction had taken place in a rural refueling station or in a fast food community, not in what is probably the most famous, elevated indoor market, I would not have taken into account the situation. after my ridiculously expensive meal was paid and the first shock began to sink, the kiss colleague handed over to me the finished garnel sandwich that she had caught from an adjacent box with other finished plates. it was not offered me a tablet, and when I asked myself kindly whether I was insured for eating somewhere, the cash register lifted her poor and pointed to the sitting area. she did this without losing eye contact with me and then empirically suggested that I throw a look at me with the plate, serviette, cutlery and beer in my hands, I directed myself to the first available table. to happiness and, say something for the tyras marien it was a lot to choose. once sitting, but before I started eating, I was on the small size of the plate where my sandwich was positioned. I personally would never have used such a small plate for something else than to use a starter, or maybe a dessert on. certainly not for such a small sandwich. but then I started thinking the choice of the plate size was quite interesting in itself. tysta mari wants to realize that they believe that their astronomical price sandwich is greater than it actually thanks to the petit plate size then I saw on the beer in sweden, in the rule, a large glass beer there is no law about how big a big beer must be called big beer. but traditional, at least during my life, it was always half a liter. the one I received came into a glass and had more foam than I had in all fairness, the sandwich was as delicious as the beer was durst quenched. but sek for a small, pretty base war sandwich and sek for a barely big beer to load is simply Carbahn robbery when tysta mari lived today, I bet a pretty penny that they are not calm as their name and call are being exploited. today's incarnation of their house belongs and is operated by a huge restaurant group, which means that they have enormous purchasing power. so, the charge of invaluable guests so a crazy amount of money without service is shameful and contradictory of corporate greed just because they can not mean that they should be human, I highly recommend avoiding this restaurant.

Tysta Mari is situated in the temporary market while Ostermalms Saluhall is undergoing renovations, which is expected to last about 2 years. The food at Tysta Mari is fresh and based on the number of locals dining here, it is considered an institution. It can be difficult to determine the best option in a market, but the choice was clear at Tysta Mari. The restaurant offers fabulous fresh food with a Swedish twist.
