the menu goes on and on, and vegan options are many. eating came extremely fast and everything tasted very good! felt authentic and although it was quite early on a weekday the place was almost full. updated by previous review on 2022-11-12 View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Saravanaa Bhavan Sankt Eriksgatan:
personal and decor let them want more. no love for detail or quality. of slender furniture, uninterested employees and floppy menus. but I understand it should be quick to eat. it is not very fast, but it is in order. eating is ok and the South Indian restaurans are always a welcome supplement to the more frequent bengali options in the city. I sometimes come to lunch and let myself stay. but never really long to go... View all feedback.
Nice that I read the reviews here before I left. ordered the vegan thiali and it came. but it wasn't vegan. I ordered a beer and it never arrived. Eating was okay, but is okay enough? I had both worse and better curries. the brot was nice and the service was slightly distracted, but friendly.
I ordered a vegan thali and when it arrived I asked them just in case if everything was vegan. Turns out three of the dishes were not vegan.
This is as authentic Indian as it can get in Sweden and truly delicious! I had a vegan thali and everything was very good. Reasonable prices, too.
Ordered Mini idli, Methu Vada and Onion Masala with Madras Coffee to finish the course. All tasted great. Chutneys especially green and coconut were very tasty. Great portion sizes. Coffee was strong, with a Swedish kick! Will be back.
