We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and a special spicy Chicken dish with Nan bread and Raita. The food tasted authentic and delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant for lunch. We had a great time. View all feedback.
What Mikael F doesn't like about Maharajah Vasastan:
While exploring Östermalm, we stopped by this restaurant for some beers. It was the first place we came across, and we were pleasantly surprised by the Indian style interior. The Indian Pale Ale beers we ordered were good (0.5 liters for 70 SEK), but the service was only average. View all feedback.
Really really good Indian food, maybe the best in town? And I’ve been to many. Veggies and all food was fresh and nicely presented. Chicken sizzlers mix- juicy and tasty. They are a bit more spicier than the rest of the restaurants in the area, so when you choose chillis) it’s quite spicy Would recommend and will be back soon!
Pleasant restaurant with good food. Nicely presented. You can sit both indoors and outdoors by quiet street.
Tasty food, however I don't know how it compares with original Indian cuisine. At this price level, for me, it scores very well for a lunch place. Good service.
I visited what must be the worst Indian restaurant in Sweden. There were no customers when I arrived on a Friday night in Stockholm, which was concerning. Despite this, I decided to give it a chance and ordered the standard chicken tikka masala with garlic bread. The food took too long to arrive, and when it did, I could tell right away that something was off. The masala had no flavor and was watery, almost like a store-bought sauce mixed with water. The naan bread was also bland. I would rate my experience a 1 out of 10 and would not recommend this restaurant. There are many better options available for the same price.
