There are many, many things that could make this place better. but they have to judge what it is. it is in the round a hole-in-the-wall, with some tables. not something from guide michelin. sure there is a little language barrier, with all the Asian staff. but they can safely freeze these veggies! perfect consistency, perfect balance between sweet, sour and salty. beautiful spicyness, beautiful big tofu bites. here it is when you are close, suddenly hungry. not for booking a table for your date night. they filled you at a reasonable price. if they don't care about cross-contamination, this is a nice place to eat a quick lunch!
What I could see is that they do not speak English; I took some time to understand the menu. I pointed to one who mentioned vegan, but in him was also a cow, also a cow. I said loud vegan that there is no mistake. So I had a humble rice with cashew and some sweet. it was spicy, but acceptable delicious. I was affraid that wasn't enough, but I felt satisfied, there's tap inside, they can reusable water bottle as I did:
I am confused why this place is on happy cow and why the people have said many options because if I went to order, they told me they had only one option and nothing else could be made vegan. my Swedish friend spoke to them for me. I have ordered the only vegan option and it was delicious. but disappointed there was only one option.
Take the Singaporean fried rice woth tofu. It is spicy and tasty. The other wok dishes aren't that great
