Run by three VERY hardworking staff and a fantastic chef, this is a lovely place for a main meal and a celebration of our time in Stockholm. We had three courses and the food was simply divine. If I could give this place 6 stars I would. PS...the chocolate fondant should be made a black market drug it was that good! View all feedback.
What Rose-Marie Bergström doesn't like about Borgmaestarn:
great food. ordered several dishes and found a long hair in the hamburger. we ignored it, took it out and after a few minutes found another in the same hamburger. they gave us a new hamburger, but still. View all feedback.
Short term reservation worked well. the restaurant was quite empty (in the half at six,) but the waiters were super friendly and the eating was really good. the prices were normal for sweden.
The quality of the food was excellent as was the location and beer (we didn't try the wine). The waiting staff were friendly, but busy. Service felt a little rushed due to this, but in hindsight they were whizzing around the tables ensuring everybody got served. Would highly recommend.
The food was delicious and the service was quick. However, the restaurant became too noisy for us due to a busy weekend evening crowd and loud piped music, making it hard to have a conversation. This was the main downside for us.
This bistro is excellent! I had the shrimp scampi, Swedish meatballs, and a chocolate dessert. The beer and wine selection is a bit limited for a bistro and bar, but the food is fantastic. The service was good overall.
I made a last-minute reservation and everything went smoothly. The restaurant was somewhat empty when we arrived at 6:30, but the waitstaff were extremely friendly and the food was delicious. The prices were typical for Sweden.
