Was Adell Schowalter at Tranquilo a mag?
Cosy spot on a cold Winter's day in the Adelaide Hills. A great menu plus a great selection on the specials board. An all day breakfast was available which was a big plus. Two family members had lamb shanks which was very tasty but very generous. I had the entree serving of the Asian special. This was plenty. View all feedback.

What Jonathon Legros dislikes about Tranquilo:
I like this place. Good food good service. And a nice view. Slightly noisy but I am being pedantic. There should be more outside seating. I would definitely go back. View all feedback.

Tranquilo is located in the main street of Stirling just near Matilda's Bookshop. I just dropped in for a quick morning break and was so impressed by the service of the owner and her staff. Very friendly, funny and welcoming. I didn't eat from the menu - just coffee and cake this time; but I could see from what others were eating that the food looked good and the sizes were generous. Judging only from what I had though - the coffee was a good standard. It was an incredibly hot day so the owner's suggestion of iced latte for my second cup was a good one, and the little house made citrus slice was something I would not have normally chosen so was a bit of a treat.  I will go back again for a full meal but for now I can say that the experience at Tranquilo was excellent - the service alone is enough to make me drive to the Hills to try it again. Best option for parking is on the other side of the road behind Foodland - 3 hour limit. Stirling is a lovely Adelaide Hills town with plenty to do for the day so worth a visit and Tranquilo is a good option. adelaidewriter.com.au

Oh my God! The food here is absolutely mouth watering, I took my kids there and the staff were very friendly and patient with the racket and as soon as the food came there was nothing but silence! I hear that Monday night is Mexican Monday so I'm definitely going there again. Absolutely lovely place, definitely worth the drive to Stirling for.

Was a great place to have lunch and spend a few hours catching up with friends. Food was great, fish and chips and barramundi both delicious. Unfortunately service not as great as food, friendly enough but orders got forgotten and had to ask 4 times for another bottle of water. Would def give it another go if I was up this way again.

Tranquilo restaurant in Stirling offers a charming and cozy dining experience with delicious food, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. The menu includes tasty options such as salt and pepper squid, lamb yiros, fish and chips, barramundi, and the popular Vegetable Tower. The service can sometimes be mixed, with some customers experiencing long wait times and forgotten orders. However, other diners have praised the attentive and efficient staff, particularly during themed dining events like Mexican Monday. Overall, Tranquilo offers good value for money and a welcoming environment for a meal with friends or family.
