What 656russells doesn't like about The Lade Inn:
Very sparse menu and strange host spoke very loudly and quickly. There were three of us, two had starters as our mains were the Steak Pie which would take 20 minutes to cook and diners were advised on the menu to order starters while they waited. The Prawn Cocktails were over £9 each and were very poor tiny prawns with rubbery texture and the “Marie rose” sauce was weirdly watery. The Steak pie was only average and p... View all feedback. Really nice eating and good service no hurry, although we were in the last orders. good beer. dog-friendly.

Good food and a hearty welcome. Food was quick and service excellent. Good range of their own beers and a beer shop on site.

Nestled along the A84 in Kilmahog, this pub restaurant presents a mix of experiences. While some patrons rave about the delicious haggis, warm service, and cozy atmosphere with a charming old-world vibe, others express disappointment with inconsistent food quality and service. Dishes like the famed steak pie and squid have received praise for their taste, though some have critiqued the sparse menu and prawn dishes for being subpar. Overall, while the pub offers a welcoming environment and hearty meals, experiences may vary, making it essential for prospective diners to manage their expectations.

Nice service and a few GF alternatives and one of them a very good pasta. Even gluten-free beer!

Vegetarian gluten-free pasta meal available to be happy, flexible and knowledgeable about ingredients.

The service was great and there were a few gluten-free options available, including a delicious pasta dish. They even had gluten-free beer on the menu!
