**Discovering Saint Croix Vineyards: A Mixed Experience** At Saint Croix Vineyards, guests can indulge in decent wines made from a limited selection of their own grapes. The vibrant atmosphere, ideal for families, features outdoor seating and children-friendly activities such as goat petting and a quirky tractor train ride. However, some amenities felt worn and less appealing, reminiscent of a casual picnic rather than a vineyard experience. While the wines and food, including delightful apple brats, garnered praise, the overall experience could be better. Seasonal events like “Yoga in the Vines” add charm, making this vineyard a worthy, albeit imperfect, destination for visitors.

After 16 years in Wine and exclusively in the Minnesota Wine industry for the last three years, I can't name a better MN winery. The best Minnesota wines are produced consistently by Saint Croix Vineyards. Sense of place is emphasized strongly in their wines.

We had fantastic wine here. The semi-sweet wines and reds were all great, along with the tomato basil cheese, and the lady serving them was knowledgeable and nice.

This seems like it would be a real fun place to visit, meet friends, take a tour of, and hang out at had it not been mostly shut down due to Minnesota's Covid-19 restrictions. I visited on a Friday late afternoon and it was just one employee, a guy buying something from the bakery, and me taking a gamble on purchasing a couple bottles of wine without being able to try them. The lady who assisted me was very friendly though (and based on my flavor profile I explained to her) was able to point me in the direction of a few bottles I would later enjoy. Hopefully this establishment will be able to fully re-open back up come spring!

Wines were fine, but they aren 't using enough of their own grapes to really be a vineyard . Plenty of outdoor seating, but most is not overly comfortable, and not picturesque. The accommodations felt more like a church picnic or bikerfest than a vineyard. Our host, Ken, was friendly and informative, though he did unknowingly give my Wisconsin heritage a backhanded slap. A big plus was their allowance of us bringing in our own snacks.

It was very expensive and kind of boring. I went with two kids under 4, so keep that in mind with my description. They have 3 janky play sets, obviously two young boys loved them. They each had puddles and mud at the bottom of each slide, missing things, run down look. Sand isn't expensive, you just need to pour a few hundred pounds at the end of the slides. They had a little train pulled by a tractor, the cars were boarder line going to fall off the tractor, and it costs 5 dollars to ride it in a circle twice... That was insane. They have drinks and wine and some food, those were nice. Spendy but I don't think over priced. They have goats, the boys had fun petting them.
