Hanlie's Bistro - Still Bay

Very unassuming from the outside, but what a delight! The food is absolutely delicious, I had the special on the night which was a cheddar melt steak, meat was soft, tasty and prepared perfectly. The sauce was just to die for.. really. It came with a healthy helping of home cooked veg and chips. Service was good, I would give them 4.5 but rounded up instead of down because they don’t deserve 4), but would easily give 5 stars if atmosphere improved music, candles/better lighting etc)

My wife and I visited Hanlie's and had the best lamb shanks that we have ever had in our lives. They were out of this world. The rest of the food going to the other tables looked just as good. This place is highly recommended.

This place is such a gem! Delicious food! The bone marrow and wine fillet is to die for! Best steak sauce I have ever tasted. Possibly best sauce I have ever tasted. My mom is a local and took us to this 'secret spot '. I was so impressed!

A well selected menu catering to all tastes with South African classics in portions which fills the gap. The restaurant in Stilbaai where one can go to for celebrating an intimate occasion or take guests for dinner. Very reasonable prices and friendly service.
