The music is from 90' and earlier. Beverages have normal prices, but if you meet it during the student pub, you will get drunk... in a cheaper price. Not so many choices in Steyr, so try.

Only after my recent visit I discovered the Roten Hahner small pub by Schloss Lamberg. You can choose from a fine selection of designs and listen to filled beers and the music mainly jazz/blue/rock. Place is somewhat crowded, and Austrians like to smoke! Be ready for tears in the eyes, but otherwise a very beautiful place. I'll be back.

In the cold season, I avoid the smoker-local, as the fresh air reserves are very quickly used up.

The music is from 90' and earlier. Drinks have normal prices but If you hit it during the studentpub you will get drunk in a cheaper price. Not so many choices in Steyr so try it out.
