Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

The wait times at this restaurant can be long due to its popularity. It is always busy no matter the time or day we choose to go. The items in the gift shop are expensive for the quality offered, which does not appeal to me. The wait staff is friendly and usually quick, but they seem overworked. Some of them have too many tables to cover and cannot give them all proper attention. The food is average, with my most recent visit featuring burnt bacon. The restaurant is not deserving of a 5-star rating, but it is decent considering the affordable prices. I was disappointed when they stopped using frosty mugs for their lemonade, as it was one of my favorite parts of the experience.

This Cracker Barrel experience was the worst I have ever had. Our food took forever to come out, and people who arrived after us received their meals before us. The server assured us that our food would be out soon while placing her hand on my shoulder, which made me uncomfortable as I do not like being touched. When she eventually brought out biscuits, they were hard and burnt. Our main dishes arrived cold after a long wait, and my eggs were not cooked as requested. The sugar ham was dry and lacked flavor. The server did not come back to refill our drinks, so I ended up finishing my meal without a drink. When she brought the check, she once again touched my shoulder and asked if we needed anything else.

This restaurant is definitely a crowd favorite! The dishes are delicious and very filling. We ordered the chicken fried chicken (served with french fries and fried apples), roast beef (with baked macaroni), and the loaded potato, which we highly recommend. They even provided complimentary bread. Highly recommended!

Ate at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Stevensville, Maryland yesterday. It was extremely busy we missed our call to be seated but when we alerted the hostess she sat us immediately. As soon as we sat down our waitress was there to take our drinkorder. It took a little while to get our food but it?s the Cracker Barrel, it?s well worth the wait! We ordered the CountryFried Steak (with brown gravy instead of the white) Meatloaf. Everything was delicious. I love that you can play a game ofcheckers before getting back on the road. I ordered dinner to be curbsided pick up. Ordering online is easy and convenient !! Called when we got there, 5 minutes before assigned time. Then waited 25 minutes before calling again? just be told sternly we needed to call when we arrived !!! Iexplained we had already called and they said they would be right out!! Order was delivered to my car ?. AGAIN? RUDELY? Was told?with attitude? I should have called !! If I didn?t have a house full of people waiting for food.. I would have taken my foodback in and asked for a return. As it was the meatloaf dinner was tasty and delicious!! The sides were very small. I ordered the8 to 10 servings.. enough for leftovers ? nope ? no left overs !!! Ordered a chefs/Cobb salad !! Fresh and nice size. As it wascustomer service sucked.. but the food was good !!!
