Franny's Family Pancake House

The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean, but I personally did not enjoy the food. This is not the restaurant's fault, as I am accustomed to southern cuisine and found the dishes to be bland. My husband's steak also seemed overcooked or boiled. We had breakfast and he ordered steak and eggs while I had the Greek omelet. I felt that my dish lacked flavor and overall, the food did not meet my expectations. However, I understand that different regions have their own take on cooking.

We have always enjoyed the delicious food at this restaurant, especially their breakfast options. Since moving to this side of town, we have become regular customers. It is a great choice for large groups, and the setting in the old El Mezcal adds to the charm.

The food was served cold, and one dish was missing the French fries.

Waited 2 hours for our breakfast! The portions were big but the food and drinks were way too sweet! The AC made it freezing cold in August even after we requested it to be turned to a warmer temperature! We ended up putting our jackets on..
