While many rave about the friendly staff and delicious offerings—particularly the Sunday roast and open-faced sandwiches—others express disappointment over service delays and subpar food quality. The atmosphere, described as pub-like rather than formal dining, can feel crowded, especially during busy times. Despite some challenges, numerous guests appreciate the value, helpful service, and overall pleasant experience, suggesting that while improvements are needed, The Mulberry Tree holds potential for enjoyable visits in the future, especially for those valuing good service and hearty meals.
Great pub garden Price per person: £20–30 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
I didn't have the opportunity to taste the food, but the ambiance was fantastic and the staff were excellent. The cost per person ranged from £1 to £10. I would rate the service as 4 out of 5 and the atmosphere as 5 out of 5.
The food at this restaurant is very good, and it was my first time visiting since the name change. It's also a good pub. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as a 3 out of 5.
I went here for our office Christmas party. The meal pre-ordering system worked very well, keeping things simple on the night. The beers were fairly sensibly priced, all in all a super evening with my new colleagues. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The food was terrible, and the tea was cold and tasted like perfume! When we complained, the bartender said it was as hot as he could make it. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere all received a rating of 1.
