What sharonStevenage doesn't like about The Flower Cafe:
Stopped off for tea and cake whilst admiring the flowers. The range of cakes was really good and the presentation of the individual tea pot /cup was very quaint and in keeping with the overall style of the florist. Slightly quirky and different. View all feedback.
Stopped in the High Street we didn’t know the area very well found this little gem just where we had parked!! Lovely lunch the soup was delicious the sandwiches made to order so delicious.. the place itself looked fresh spotless.. Would recommend to anyone!!
Happened to be in Old Town Stevenage today and wanted a coffee and a bite to eat. Rather than going to usual Costa the hubby suggested the Flower Cafe. Popped in and was into a winner with them having soya milk and they actually made a really good cappuccino (it seems to be something some places struggle with if not using normal milk). The menu was simple but as a pescatarian I still managed to find something I could eat. We even followed it up with a lovely piece of carrot cake (may be a little on the sweet side but it was being shared between 2). Lovely quirky setting. More than just a flower shop and cafe. The flower arrangements looked wonderful and some great gift ideas scattered around the shop. Need to be back in Old Town in the near future and I think Costa may have lost a customer to the Flower Cafe.
I popped in here this morning for a coffee and toast. Great flat white coffee (and I am fussy about coffee) and lovely granary toast, with plenty of butter made available. Whilst in there, I read some of the previous reviews and had a chuckle about the odd negative one. This is a great place, good location just off the High Street, friendly staff, pleasant surrounding and lovely food and drink.
Recently visited for a coffee and a cake. Staff were friendly, coffee was great, cake was excellent. Will be returning in the future keep it up! Reading your tripadvisor responses gave me a good chuckle too. We had 2 latte’s, carrot cake and sticky toffee cake.
Situated just off the pretty High Street in the Old Town, there are tables inside and outside for a sunny day. Nice coffees, good selection of cakes and teacakes with lots of butter. A nice start to the morning. Would certainly return.
