Mumbai Spice - Stevenage

I would give this restaurant 4 stars, although 3 stars might be a bit too low. This was my first time ordering from here and I was pleased with how quickly the food arrived. It was piping hot, which was a major plus. I ordered onion bhajis, chicken chat, chicken dhansak, and chicken madras, along with rice and naan bread. While I personally found the food to be slightly lacking in flavor, my wife enjoyed it when she reheated it the following evening. The dishes were hot enough, but just needed a little more seasoning for my taste. There was a generous amount of sauce, which I liked, and the chicken was decent.

Best indians in the opposite to a country mile. the delivery can be a little slow, but it is always worth it.

I have eaten in more Indian restaurants / takeaways than I can count, but mumbai seasoned is by far the best Indian food I have ever tasted! the portion sizes are large, the prices are incredibly low for the amount of food they receive, the service is brilliant, and that is incredible! if they haven't eaten yet from here, I recommend them, I am now a customer for living!

Food was 2 hours late the last time we ordered so we was offered 50% off the next time. Guess what 2 and half hours later and our food still hadn't arrived. We should have learnt the first time. If you're happy waiting 2 hours then go for it as the food is nice.. if you get it. Although we was told it'll be 25 minutes more, it never turned up and we called them to say don't bother.

Now 4 stars is a little high but 3 stars seems a bit tight so I’ve erred on the side of generosity. It was hot enough but just lacking in a little flavour for me but lots of sauce which I like and the chicken was decent enough.
