When the food was finally remade and brought back to us, there was still no apology. The presentation of my waffle was poor, with sliced bananas thrown in the box in large pieces. Additionally, our milkshakes were forgotten, and when they were finally delivered, my boyfriend's M&M milkshake had pieces of candy stuck to the straw. I called to inquire about my order and requested to speak with the manager multiple times, but was rudely informed that I was already speaking to the manager. I would not recommend this restaurant as they tend to speak to their customers disrespectfully.
Ordered a delivery for myself and my partner for one of the deserts not to show up and no straws to come with the smoothies and they taste watery and bland to be honest. Phoned up and was told if we wanted it to come pick it up from the store or we would need to get a refund and re order.
Was excited to visit as not been before and our goddaughter has wanted to go. Good system for Covid. Sadly not great service. Ordered from children and main menu. Once sat down, looked over Bill. The cost of the ‘small’ thick shake was £1.75 more than advertised. Asked the waitress and she said the small is no longer available, only regular or large (which was not an option on the menu). I said, ok, if regular next size available your still charging 95p more than menu price. The waitress advised the till is set for £4.50. The white mark barley visible on the menu is to show its crossed off. I suggested maybe a thick black line as more obvious and was advised by the waitress that she has nothing to do with menus before going out for a ‘break’ with her female colleague. She did advise she would talk to her manager? The male colleague did take time to ask if all was okay, which was nice. They still have eat to help out posters in the window, so shouldn’t have been surprised the menus are incorrect. Sad that customer service seems so lacking. Won’t return.
I just visited the Stevenage store and am disappointed with the customer service and the presentation of my food. I tried calling to book a table earlier but no one answered and so I turned up to see it was card only so I drove to a cash point and came back. I then came inside to get told that it was takeaway only. I queued up and ordered my food and was told to wait outside. The whole process took around 30 mins for my food to be given to me and in that time many people arrived and were seated inside with no indication that they had booked. When I got home to look at my cookie dough it had been slopped into the box and did not resemble the dessert I had waited so long for, although my boyfriend’s waffle was fine. I was really looking forward to this and have been disappointed.
Walked in, hadn’t booked a table. Was told there was no availability for the rest of the night. We said that was fine and decided to get a take away. After we had ordered we then sat at the front of the restaurant (in what looked like a waiting area) prepared to wait, we was then told we couldn’t sit there as it was the way people would usually exit. We said ok where can we stand, the so called ‘supervisor’ then said outside, baring in mind it was raining and severely windy. We asked a young boy behind the counter if we could stand and wait to the side out of the way no where near anyone, he said yes of course that’s fine. She then stormed over, made a scene, told us we were causing trouble and to get outside before she called the manager to escort us out. Her tone was so patronising and rude. We felt incredibly attacked. As we waited outside we saw her come out, she began to snog her boyfriend as we watched our takeaways on the side waiting to be brought out to us. incredibly unprofessional, working in the same industry I’m well aware of the rules and regulations that need to be abided by in the current circumstances, but I am also aware of the customer service that should go along with that. If you want to underminded and degraded, take a trip x
