Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant received mixed reviews regarding its service and atmosphere. Some diners experienced issues with a faulty air conditioning unit blasting cold air, which may have contributed to slow service. There were also complaints about bookings not being honored, despite reservations being made in advance. However, the food was praised for being delicious and the service was described as efficient, though not overly accommodating. The overall experience seemed to vary for each customer, with some encountering frustrating situations while others enjoyed their meal without any major issues.
My foodie friend suggested this place, so I knew it was gonna be decent.
I like this place because: - it's possible to get reservation - lively atmosphere - affordable (not cheap, but reasonable) - most dishes are delicious -
After a revamp, this remains a traditional French brasserie in the heart of theatre land.
The air conditioning in the restaurant was faulty so that really cold air radiated to the diners. Some of us have even set up our coats. Whether this was the cause of the slow service, I don't know, but our starters took 45 minutes to arrive.
Bizarr, although I had booked a table over an open table, the restaurant did not have our booking....? Luckily there was a replacement table! Apart from that, service very good and efficient and food exactly what you would expect.
