Contribute FeedbackASK Restaurant offers a varied culinary experience, often marked by both delightful and disappointing encounters. While some guests have praised the friendly and attentive service, noting particularly excellent staff on busy evenings, others have encountered rude or unprofessional waitstaff. The food quality also seems inconsistent, with standout dishes noted alongside bland offerings swimming in oil. Despite the bustling atmosphere of the leisure park location and suitable service for families, including accommodating children’s requests, many patrons express concern over noise levels and varying service experiences. Overall, ASK shows potential but may need consistency to win back loyal customers.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! I brought three kids in for a quick dinner as we were in a hurry. One of my kids didn't like anything on the menu because he preferred to eat somewhere else, but the staff kept offering him free ice cream, which he declined. The gluten-free kids' size pizza was surprisingly big, which was a nice surprise. The staff treated the children like any other customer, providing fantastic service. Additionally, we did not have a reservation, but they were able to seat us on a busy Friday evening. Thank you for a great dining experience!
Was looking forward to visiting Ask as hadn’t been for a while but what a disappointment, the food was bland, but most of all the service was pretty bad , ordered some drinks and when they didn’t come asked about them and the waiter was really rude , safe to say I won’t be coming back !
This has always been my favorite place to eat. I do not go out much but it was my birthday and we met family at ASK last week. The waitress was not only sarcastic but rude as well. Her attitude was really off. The rudest part was the bill she had added over £14.00 for a tip. We have always tipped and with a generous attitude. I refuse to be told what to tip especially with poor service. We asked for this to be removed from the bill which she did. It's sad because we have 3 more birthdays coming up and the plan was to spend them all at ASK, but not now. The food on this occasion has also gone down hill (mine was swimming in oil). I am a saddo and have the same thing everytime I go there so I kind of knew what to expect and I just couldnt eat it. I have never written a bad review but I felt this needed saying. I am so disappointed. I have been told there is another ASK in Letchworth so who knows I may try there.
This restaurant provides an excellent and relaxing atmosphere for studying. The coffee is also fantastic. When I requested a refill of black coffee, I was told it was not typically offered. However, to my surprise, I was given a fresh black coffee on the house just minutes later. The staff were incredibly kind and courteous, showing that being a polite customer goes a long way in this industry. The customer service was amazing, with a smile. I won't mention the name of my server here, as I don't want them to face any consequences for going above and beyond to serve me.
Super tasty food. Fantastic service from start to finish polite and professional little one's food came out at good pace. Loved the bread sticks. Pasta dishes great and a good portion. Will visit again when next in Stevenage before a long train journey.
