Urbano is delicious! We were sad to see Cafe Cubano close, but I've got to say I'm not anymore. I am so glad my family decided to try it out. We ordered to-go, but there were plenty of nice seats inside and outdoors. There were five of us, and we split everything. What User doesn't like about Urbano Modern Italian:
This restaurant is a hidden gem located in the heart of a charming shopping and dining plaza. The service was excellent and very welcoming. Their menu focuses on appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and homemade pasta. They also have a small but good selection of beer and wine. The variety of pastas and sauces is impressive. Dietary restrictions: My partner is vegan and always orders the Trofie with no cheese, and they are always accommodating and make sure the cheese is left out when requested.
I absolutely adore this restaurant! The staff is incredibly friendly and I have never been disappointed with a meal here. I highly suggest trying their gnocchi specials on Thursdays. This week, the bacon and pumpkin gnocchi was out of this world - definitely my favorite one yet.
The food at this restaurant was outstanding, comparable to some of the pricier Italian restaurants in the area. The server was extremely attentive and friendly. I can't wait to return and sample more of their appetizers. Although there was a noisy event outside that affected the atmosphere, I don't think the restaurant should be penalized for something beyond their control.
This restaurant is a fantastic spot to experience a taste of New York in Northern Virginia. The intimate dining space gives off the feeling of stepping off a bustling city street. The atmosphere is peaceful, the staff is attentive but not pushy, and the food is outstanding. The desserts and coffee are beyond delicious and make for a delightful end to the meal.
We absolutely adore this restaurant. The food is authentic and the staff is exceptional.
