Low prices, decent food. From the outside, this restaurant is one of several other restaurants in a strip mall behind several other strip malls. It is the stereotypical take-away Chinese counter restaurant with a few tables inside with no decor other than stock food photos behind the counter. The menu is fairly standard Chinese-American fare. The lunch specials are especially well priced for an entree, white rice and a can of soda. The selections are good and I opted for the Double-Cooked Pork which isn't something usually found on lunch specials. I also selected a small Hot Sour soup as an appetizer. The food was brought to my table quickly and the Double-Cooked Pork was clearly cooked to order. Both the soup and the Pork were steaming hot which was nice. The soup was good spicy, as expected and while not packed with ingredients, it was still flavorful and quite good. The Pork was surprisingly good filled with lots of fresh vegetables and pork. The only disappointment was that the Pork wasn't as spicy as I was hoping then again, I didn't specify and most palettes don't like spicy despite what they say. All told, it's a good restaurant for an inexpensive lunch. I'll return again.
