I would give Brew Grit 10 stars if I could. I was just in Sterling for a couple days on business. Having never been here, I reviewed coffee/ breakfast places. This one caught my eye. It was fabulous. The young girls working were nice, helpful and very attentive. Its drive thru was hopping. I chose to eat inside and not rush. I had a jalapeño popper biscuit breakfast sandwich…..egg, pepper jack cheese and sausage Alon... View all feedback.
Wow. This place was amazing. We went through the area looking for caffeine and lunch. After reading the hard reviews (and the friendly reactions of the owner) we decided to make this our stop. So glad we made it! This experience was really extraordinary. I looked at the menu that has so many combinations of flavors and drinks. I didn't see a coffee miel and asked if they could do one with coconut milk and an additional shot. The two ladies behind the counter, Abby and Christie, asked what this drink was. I explained, and they went on to make me the best Café-Miel I've ever had! The owner was there then, so she asked me what the name of the drink was and wrote it down to look at it. My Hubby brewed a coffee he said very well. I have a lunch sandwich pumpkin, ham, salad and Mayo on a heated croissant and my husband got a Buckboard breakfast sandwich, with sausage, egg and American cheese. They were both fast and very good. I got another one! My Hubby also got a blueberry muffin he really liked. Overall, Brew Grit Coffee has an amazing selection of drinks, delicious and filling food, a sweet and wonderful owner, charming country ambience and a super amazing staff. I don't know what the other critics are talking about. If you are in the area, give this little place a chance, you will be really happy you did! I
I don't often write reviews, but this place is worth a review. We stopped by the city. The staff was very friendly, the food was great, and the coffee was right. My husband had the English Muffin sandwich and was thrilled. He loves English muffins. I was thrilled to hear that they had two gluten-free options, and was more enthusiastic to hear that they were homemade. The biscuit was much better than bought. The store was also very clean. I definitely recommend this place. We will return
We were on the day three of our trip from Michigan to Nevada, when, fortunately, we happened to Brew Grit in Sterling, CO. They had delicious gluten-free options for sandwiches and treats as well as not milk options for coffee drinks. We ordered an egg and sausage gluten-free cookie, an egg and sausage English muffin, a gluten-free pumpkin muffin, a gluten-free peanut butter/reese pieces of biscuits, a coconut milk mocha and a almond milk latte. Everything was excellent, and we roasted the coffee very well without the acidity. And the staff! OMG all were so helpful and patient with all our questions! Customer service was off the hook. Thank you. Brew Grit Team!! We'll be back there... P. S. I agree with Roberta, they should have 10 stars!
We happened on this coffee shop on a road trip and we loved it! My fiancée is from Brazil and is not easily impressed when it comes to coffee, but these friendly people do it right. They were very friendly and chatting, detailed with our drinks orders, fast and the coffee was delish! We highly recommend and when we live in the area we often come back.
Great coffee and a testament to The Duke. I had something called a Rooster Cogburn and it was delicious. On top of that, the folks working are super friendly.
