However, my biggest disappointment was the amount of meat in the crab legs. Most of the legs were quite small and didn't have much meat in them. What I could manage to extract felt sparse, which was disappointing. Even the claws were lacking. I understand that they can't control the amount of meat in every crab, but it did feel a bit underwhelming, especially considering the price per dish.

DO. NOT. MISS. THIS. PLACE. Goodness, this restaurant fulfills all of my seafood cravings plus more. I get done eating there, and by the time I'm hungry again I already want to go back. The most delicious boils this Michigan girl had ever had (besides the occasional trip down South). The juicy special sauce is GOLD. I opt for medium heat. Just try it already.
I live in California now but Michigan will always be home. While here on vacation I went with my wife to Red Crab. All I can say is WOW!! ' THE GOOD WAS FANTASTIC!! The service was incredible too. You can 't go wrong eating here. All I can add is that you better go hungry, and wear the gloves they offer!! Wonderful place to dine! '
I'm giving this place 2 stars because the shrimp and snow crab were decent. The calamari tasted like something I could get from a drive through and the rest wasn't so great. Everything else tasted like it was sitting in dirty lake water. Food took a long time even though we were one of a handful of tables and we sat with empty drinks for 15 minutes. There's better places to go then this...
Had such a great experience! Our food was delicious and our server, Tyler, was great! She was very nice and attentive. Can’t wait to return
