Purple Spoon - Sterling Heights

I found this place when I was looking for a new ice cream place to try. I noticed that it had pretty good reviews and the pictures look amazing. The place looked very big and clean and the girls working were friendly. I went for froyo, but decided to get the rolled ice cream. They also had ice cream mixed with cereal, which reminded me of Kith! I decided to get the Ferrero Rocher, although many of the options looked very good. They recommended a box, but it looked odd to me so I ordered a cup. After seeing the yelp pictures I do wish that I got a box. The ice cream was very good! I was also surprised that they had Guernsey Farms ice cream, specifically the pistachio one. I lovee that flavor and my mom finally got to try it and loved it! Overall, this place was really good and I would definitely return. My ice cream was so filling and I wasn't even able to finish it. I noticed that some people claimed that it's pricey, but you can definitely just get one and share! I believe my total was almost 12 dollars for my ice cream and 2 scoops of the guernsey. I'm used to paying this much just for the guernsey, so I don't think it's that overpriced!

I'm going to be honest, this was some of the messiest food I've ever eaten but it was good. No doubt it was good. I think some folks would be a touch annoyed with how messy it is though.

I've been trying to get a hold of them for a week for a communion party. I've called numerous times and filled out the form online. Very bad customer service that no one has gotten back to me when on the form it says someone call give me a call within 24 hours. Looks like we'll take our business elsewhere. I shouldn't have to call this many times and with no returned call till now.

First time having rolled ice cream and it was so good!!! they had a good selection to choose from!

Been passing by this place forever! The specialty ice cream are all amazing. It's very nicely put together in a bowl. Staff was super friendly and recommended items of them menu just right!
