We ordered two roast chickens with the fixings and tortillas for lunch at the office. I also ordered extra beans and rice. OMG, it was all so good! The roast chicken was meaty and not greasy. The tortillas de harina y los de maiz tasted so good. And the frijoles a la charra were tremendous full of ham and sausage. We had 10 people for lunch and still had food leftover. What a great deal! What A G doesn't like about Taquería La Reyna #1:
I was very disappointed by this place. Heard a lot about their whole chicken deal, so stopped by to grab one a few months ago. My bf is a huge fan of Walmart's $6 rotisserie chickens $2 at closing time for his salad, so I thought this would be a nice change. I can't remember how much exactly it was $8, maybe? . When I got home, I was disappointed by the size of the chicken. It was half the size of our favorite Walmar... View all feedback.
So our favorite taco truck, 'Taqueria La Casita ' moved and we can 't find it. We decided to try this place out as a replacement for street tacos. Their menu prices aren 't bad at all, but we were charged $53 for our dinner. $30 for tacos, apparently $23 for a side of rice and beans, and 3 drinks. They weren 't friendly. But NONE of this was an issue. I repeat, I was HAPPY to pay $53 for tacos and drinks. However, there was a long hair intertwined in my tacos through the meat and other toppings. I honestly don 't even care if people are rude when I get my food bc I 'm not paying for your kindness when all I want is some street tacos. But the HAIR.. I cannot. I will not go back ever.
Don't know what they're putting in their food, but it's addictive. I've ordered (delivery) twice in a week, and this will for sure be a new weekend staple at our house. Pastor, chicken, corn tortillas, rice and green salsa are ridiculously amazing. For $50 I can feed my family of 4 at least twice. Food is delicious when it arrives and just as good when reheated (properly) The barbacoa and flour tortillas are good enough that I'll order when the craving hits, but they won't be my go-tos. Not particularly into the red salsas but maybe that's just me.

When I got home, I was disappointed by the size of the chicken. It was half the size of our favorite Walmart one, but significantly more expensive and not really particularly flavorful. Tortillas and sauces, including their wonderfully spicy green one, are sold separately. All in all, I felt like I paid a lot of money for not much in return. I was quite disappointed. :

This is a neat spot. There's a restaurant attached to a small grocery store. I mostly place take out orders and the food is out within a reasonable time period. They offer rich and authentic dishes. One of my go-to places.
