My family and I went to this restaurant hoping for a enjoyable dinner, but unfortunately, we were let down by the fake reviews. The owner was rude to us Indians, while treating others nicely. The wine selection was nothing special, comparable to what you can find at a grocery store. Our experience was unpleasant overall, as there was no pizza available and no options for takeout. Located in the central area of Stepantsminda, this fantastic restaurant is a must-visit. Offering authentic traditional cuisine at affordable prices in a warm and inviting atmosphere, you won't be disappointed. The owner is friendly and well-informed about vegan and vegetarian options. During our visit, we enjoyed the mushroom pie, mushroom ostri, and fried rice, all of which were delicious.
Additionally, the owner felt the need to lecture us on Georgian food. The service was dine-in only. I would not recommend this place.
The restaurant is a bit tucked away, but it adds to the cozy and welcoming atmosphere. You can see right into the kitchen, making it feel like home. Although the place is small, it is very comfortable and has a variety of menu options with pictures to assist you. The waiter was extremely friendly and spoke several languages, mostly Slavic, which added to the experience. The food was delicious, especially the fries. Make sure to try the wine before you leave, as they even gave us samples of different ones for free.
