Recommended by a couple of people so we thought we would give it a go. The place was exactly as we expected. The barbecue main that one of us has was perhaps a little disappointing (not much of a portion of meat). However, the much cheaper loaded fries were to die for and made up for that disappointment. We didn't have room for desert in the end but the cheesecake looked very nice, Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.
What Nadine Kiernan doesn't like about The Fank:
They are thieves who steal from their staff. Cleanliness doesn't exist here and the so called manager thinks OK to mop the restaurant floor once a week. Avoid like the plague. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 View all feedback.

Had lunch here when we got off the ferry. Absolutely wonderful: best mussels I've had. Very friendly and attentive service. What a brilliant restaurant! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Was lovely, but the three scallops for my main dish looked decidedly lonely. More of a starter portion. Was still hungry afterwards! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Excellent food, friendly staff, and the best espresso on the entire island. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
