The service was very friendly,... read more This was our first time at Restaurant Gillis and it blew us away. We came down from Amsterdam after reading about the restaurant. The service was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. The wine list is extensive and gave us ample choice to make a match with our dinner. The food was out of this world. We started out with the beef tartar (with caviar and truffle) and bork belly. I had both dishes at other places, but the flavour on these was next level. For mains we all had our own choice of steak. I went with a dry-aged entrecôte which tasted like nothing I had before. We rounded off sight some nice desserts, coffee and some dessert-wine. It was an amazing experience, I would definitely recommend meat-lovers to come to this place. Our thanks to the staff for this wonderful experience! We’ll be coming back for sure!
