At the end of October there is no longer much going on, so the menu was smashed. Unfortunately, there are, unlike the name garkeine fish. However, the few dishes offered are very tasty, the cook has fun to come from the small kitchen, which is possible. Also the tribal studies at the Tresen obviously felt very comfortable there. However, the ambience leaves too much to be desired. Also for cleanliness I can award a maximum of 7/10 points with good will. The name “Campingklause” would be more appropriate than “Fischerkrog”.

The homemade sour meat with fried potatoes were incredibly tasty. Just like the currywurst with fries and the incredibly large baguettes. From the outside you might not think that it is so tasty there. But it is absolutely worth a visit. Not only was the food a dream, but also the service. We were very satisfied and very grateful. If we're ever in the area again, we'll be happy to come back!!!

Although... read more During a rainy weekend trip on the North Sea, a group of 8 men, completely soaked and somewhat disoriented, stumbled into the Fischerkrog in Steinberg. Although the restaurant was officially closed and in the midst of renovations, we were greeted with unexpected warmth by the new owners. Instead of sending us back into the rain, they showed true hospitality by offering us a place to warm up and inviting us over for a round of beers. And as if that wasn't generous enough, we even got a schnapps on top! It is rare to experience such authentic and warm hospitality, especially in a situation where most would have retreated. The Fischerkrog in Steinberg has left a lasting impression not only because of its future menu or furnishings, but above all because of the people who run it. If this is a taste of what the Fischerkrog will be like under new management, then I have no doubt this will be a place not to be missed. A big thank you to the wonderful owners for their generosity and warmth! We will certainly be back to experience the renovated restaurant and can't wait to be greeted again by the warmth and hospitality we were shown.
