Skylite Family Restaurant - Steinbach

Had an amazing lunch with friends! We all loved the variety of meals we tried. The customer service was top-notch! It's a shame they don't serve dinner.

I met my brother at this restaurant for breakfast this morning, on a Saturday, and we both ordered the Blatz Breakfast. I had ham, while he had bacon. The portions were very generous. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the hash browns had onions, the ham was grilled to perfection, and the bacon was just right. The rye bread toast was large, and served with jam and peanut butter. We also enjoyed endless piping hot coffee. Our server was friendly and always had a smile on her face, clearly loving her job. There was also a little guy running around greeting everyone and pouring coffee. When we paid and left a decent tip, we were surprised to learn that the gentleman we thanked was Gordon, the owner! We shook hands, thanked him, and told him it was our first time there but we would definitely be back. It was a pleasant surprise!

The chicken was delicious, and the prices were a great value. Breakfast here is consistently fantastic, and the service is always excellent. The homemade desserts are a must-try.

Love going here for breakfast. Good service and good food! Breakfast can be had all day (for slight extra charge) Lunch specials are usually good too. An outdoor patio at the rear is nice for summer. New owners have worked hard to improve the service, and improved decor as well.

We came for breakfast this week and it came hot and filling served by thr owner and great customer service!! Two days later we came for lunch and had chicken dinners and again hot and great food served by great customer service by waitress!! Thank you for the great meals!! We'll be back!!!
