Chino's Bistro - Steinbach

Stopped in at chinos yesterday to enjoy the food and patio. appetizer was delicious, though it took a solid 45 minutes to come out, and then our meals were brought out 10 minutes later. the issue i experienced was that the service from our server and management was terrible. i ordered soup, didn’t get a spoon. my salad was wilted and browning, which we were told is normal for their caesar salads. the waiter didn’t check in after bringing our food to see how everything was or if we needed anything (a spoon). my boyfriend tried to speak to the manager about my salad to which she replied it was supposed to look like that. i’m sorry but this piece of lettuce looks like it’s been in the fridge too long. it would have been nice if the manager at least pretended to care about our feedback.

The food was absolutely wonderful, we had an Indian art pizza that was quite good, and spinat dip is always good (but it is the best I ever had) and the ambiente was great, we went when it was -35 outside and we got a seat at the camein, it was warm and cozy, and the gelato was also excellent! the waitress was also very good about the food and ingredients as well as very friendly!

Not really sure what to do to this place. it is a mix of bistro, woken house and boutique. somehow this mix works to create a really sweet and vibrant shop/restaurant. I have especially enjoyed the unique selection of succulants available. I only tried the gelato, but from what I saw, the pizza looked delicious. I recommend to get the ferrero rocher gelato. I have to try the pizza at my next visit.
