Chinos - Steinbach
Chinos
Description
Chino's restaurant offers a mixed experience, with some customers praising the fantastic pizza and gelato, along with attentive service. However, others have faced disappointments, including burnt pizza, lack of corn in salads, and long wait times. The establishment now only offers a daily calzone option. The ambiance is highlighted positively, especially the outdoor patio. It seems that Chino's may be inconsistent, with both positive and negative experiences reported.

Was so excited to find out they had gluten free crust for the pizza and it was very goodGreat atmosphere and can't wait to go back for more.
Chino's has great food and drinks I was here for my birthday with some friends from work.
Chinos is a green house with more. There is a small area for clothing that is different, funky and fresh, there are Harley memorabilia and a quaint coffee shop that offers sweets, snacks and beverages in a warm relaxing atmosphere that brings some of the out doors in. Baking and pizza are great and on occasion there is a wine evening . Overall it's a great addition to our city and I would recommend it to anyone who asked for somewhere relaxing and quiet for coffee.
We had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant with a gorgeous outdoor patio surrounded by beautiful flowers and shrubs, as it is located in a garden center. The wood fired pizza we ordered was top-notch, and the field greens salad tasted like it was freshly picked. The salad was lightly dressed and generously portioned enough for three people. The service was impeccable, with our server being a skilled and pleasant young lady. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
We used to enjoy going to Chinos, but our last three visits have been disappointing. On one occasion, we ordered the Cobb salad, but they forgot to add corn. Despite the tough times for restaurants, corn is inexpensive and should have been included in the salad. The next time we went, hoping to try their soup, we were told they were out. During our most recent visit, we ordered the soup and salad combo with an upgraded Cobb salad, a small pizza to share, and a coffee, totaling $61. The dressing on the salad was minimal, and the pizza was burnt on half of it. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, they dismissed it casually. The lack of service, poor food quality, and indifferent attitude from the staff were unacceptable. Despite our neighbors also experiencing similar issues with burnt pizza, we have decided not to return to Chinos. We regrettably gave a 10% tip, but in hindsight wish we had taken a photo of the burnt pizza.
