Our room exceeded our expectations and we are already planning our return. Since we are still kovid-cautious, we were really satisfied with how well equipped the kitchen was, and we enjoyed most meals in front of the fireplace. In October it was really quiet. No hall noise. Our room exceeded our expectations and we are already planning our return. Since we are still kovid-cautious, we were really satisfied with how well equipped the kitchen was, and we enjoyed most meals in front of the fireplace. In October it was really quiet. No hall noise. Large bathrobes that would be a real pleasure after a day of skiing. Nice perk. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful. Parking was outside and across the street, but not a problem at this time of the year. We prefer this to the $50 daily parking service usually forced on us in Toronto. The area is beautiful, many beautiful cities. The photos come from our room.
Just two nights. 8th and 9th Oct. Room was clean new style. Very nice place in a beautiful area. The hiking areas are nearby. 2 reasons it did not get 5* review was parking is very limited and the Tao Golf Resort was much less than expected. Otherwise I would come back.
Never stay here again. They weren't welcome. You just know how to say no. We stayed for 1 night and left in the morning because we'd rather be home. I tried to cancel almost a week in advance for a family emergency, and they asked what my emergency was (one of their business) and when I told them that it was obviously not good enough of an emergency. We then called a day in advance to see if we can check in early and they said it was impossible. I asked if they could call me when my room is ready for me to plan my day, but she mentioned that it put too much pressure on her staff. When we called the next day to see if the room was ready, they said? You didn't take the early check-in? When I called the day before and asked for an early check in them, they said it was impossible. When we finally checked, they said that when we were? We have to take off our own garbage. Then they gave us our room keys and told us we were in the basement? We had friends who stayed at the Esterel Resort and were able to check early and had more beautiful and bigger rooms than we stayed here for $100 less
Helpful staff, well-equipped and clean rooms. Also available electric car charger we had to use daily.
Beautiful spot overlooks the water and the town. Hot Tub on the upper deck was awesome.
