**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag Experience**
In a bustling tourist area, this restaurant delivers a mixed review. While some diners praise the generous portions and flavorful dishes, particularly the bibimbap, others express disappointment with the service and overall dining experience. Issues like missing utensils and delayed orders detract from the enjoyment, while the lackluster atmosphere and outdated decor leave much to be desired. Complaints about questionable pricing practices and inattentive staff significantly tarnish the reputation. Ultimately, while the food quality shows promise, the combination of service hiccups and inconsistent experiences may lead diners to seek better alternatives in the region.

The cutest little surprise of the day! This is our new favorite place! Vegetarian options: Tofu was amazing!
I live 20 minutes away and I'll go there every time with my wife. Good vibes. Amazing food! Best,
Food was good. The kitchen (the lady) was very friendly.Strongly recommend bibibon (not sure spelling) it’s a Korean dish with rice , spinach, carrots, beef/pork, egg in a sizzling pot. Ask for hot sauce if u like it spicy ?The portion was large and worth the price (trust me, I just had the same dish at HK airport; price was the same but the airport one is garbage compare to this one)There was no air con and the door left open so it was quite warm (feeling hot). The restaurant atmosphere wasn’t good, no music, decor was outdated, kind of a place you just wanted to finish eating and leave.California roll was good I was being sarcastic to order this in California (I travel here). It wasn’t fancy the way it is in Asia. But food quality was good.I disapproved their to go box cuz you cannot microwave with this kind of material, and it is not environmentally friendly.Overall, a very good restaurant in a small town Buellton (we drove from Solvang, only 10min) Wheelchair accessibility: On the side of the road so it’s wheelchair and strollers friendly
I love A-Ru and eat here several times a week. Everything in this local family-owned and operated restaurant is super fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend.
