What User doesn't like about The West Arm Lodge And:
We were curious and full of hope. That’s why we gave the new owners three visits to the restaurant this summer. The first time we had Pizza. Mine was undercooked, my husband’s one had a burned bottom. The second time we tried the Pasta. Sorry, way too soft and creamy. On our last visit we ordered handhelds, Burger and Chicken. Lovely location, lots of activities that's easily accessible. A bit too much shrubbery around the cottages that encourages the huge amounts of mosquitoes... actual cottages needs a bit more cleaning and sprucing up. Price advertised are for 2 only although the site says sleeps 4 etc. and you pay extra even for small kids. Owners are very accommodating and easy going. Rooms: 4
The West Arm Lodge is a beautiful property with amazing hosts. It is a perfect place to get away from the city, right on the water and in the midst of gorgeous natural surroundings. The cabins are very spacious and well equipped, very clean and the view on the water when you wake up is unbeatable. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating, really kind and positive!! They have boats available for fishing in the summer which is great for an activity amongst friends and family. Finally the restaurant was also amazing!! We got some burgers and pizza and we were not disappointed! The pizzas are huge and so delicious, especially the sauce.. it has something special! I wish I could give more than 5 stars it was such a great time!! Thank you Tammi Dave and everyone else at the West Arm Lodge for having us and making it an amazing experience.

Just fantastic. We have gotten to know the new owners of the lodge Dave and Tammi this past year and can’t say enough about how they make it a great place. The cottages are adorable and on some incredible water. Prime walleye, pike and Musky fishing lots of them off the docks and miles of pristine boating. The restaurant is lovely and food was amazing we had the burger and Philly cheese steak wrap way to go Chef Matt. It was homemade and one of the best burgers we have ever had you won’t go hungry!!! They are doing a bunch of cabin upgrades too! Dave and Tammi are great! Highly recommend this lodge for a comfortable rustic northern experience.
