Beautiful lunch at Casa Del Pescatore with excellent service, delicious and authentic food, incredible lakeside location and yummy house wines. An unexpected trip highlight, tucked away in a breathtaking setting well off the beaten track. Highly recommended. View all feedback.
What Lorenzo Pardini doesn't like about Casa Del Pescatore:
Unspeakable. Despite the impeccable food, the treatment was unspeakable: the waiter forced us to take even a second because otherwise occupying the table is not justified . Three people next to us were practically kicked out in a bad way, only to have the table left vacant, unused. Despite the excellent food this great rudeness cannot be forgiven: rejected. Location in a beautiful setting. plentiful dishes and fast service. Various August menu with helpful and kind staff.
Good meal, top quality ingredients. very professional waiters, craft people, celeri in serving. has the sin of being under the sun and under the road, which means total lack of ventilation. If we're in the middle of summer and you have to wait, there's a penalty. but it is the only place to eat on the lake and this plays in its favor.
To ensure the space is made two rounds for lunch. Unfortunately we had to wait a bit more than the expected time, but once sitting at the table the service was fast. excellent food, especially based on mushrooms and truffles.
We stayed a couple of days at the holy island and stayed and ate in the village, as a popular hotel. The restaurant is a nice and quiet place overlooking the shores of the lake, the owners friendly and available to welcome the requests of those who like me do not eat meat or fish. delicious appetizers ( sliced- pole ta with truffle and spelt with ricotta,) first with rough pasta and well al dente (tagliatelle ai porcini and truffle,) the second that took my husband great (a counterfiletto with porcini chapel,) two grilled porcini that I have overmodo gotata, and an ice cream with exceptional fresh raspberries. average account for the dishes we ate. We'll be back!
