Val De La Cascade - Stavelot

Having frequented many restaurants, I had a mixed experience at this one. The fries were overcooked, the sauce with the meat was burnt and too salty, and the duck was a bit off. I had visited with a group a few years ago and noticed some flaws back then. I had hoped they would have improved over time, but it seems they haven't, which is a shame because it's a nice place. The servers were a bit too casual with the customers, using "you" instead of "you" for those they didn't know. Another thing that stood out to me was when I asked to have a Savoyard raclette with my partner, I was told that the entire table had to order it. I find it illogical to force everyone to order the same thing when each person should be free to choose what they want. Overall, I'm not sure if I would return for another dining experience in the future.

Very friendly hostess, very simple rooms, but the balcony gives a beautiful view of nature. Top of the line! We're booking here again.

What a shitty place. Huge bad service. Thick an hour waiting for your beer while the terrace's almost empty.
