Zouq Take Away - Stavanger

Great food and service. We had a lamb dish and a vegetarian dish, both really good. Ended the meal of with a mango kulfi, really tasty.

It has become one of our favorite restaurants in my household. My husband is avid for spicy food and most of the time doesn't feel like places can deliver it to him. But not at Zouq! Here they seem to serve it authentic and can make it as hot as the customer wants. I'm the complete opposite when it comes to spiciness and they also deliver a food richly spiced with herbs and spices without it burning my tongue. Everything tasted fresh and of quality. The portions are reasonably large and served in beautiful dinnerware. The seats are comfortable to sit on and enjoy a delightful meal and the restaurant's lovely atmosphere. You may stand and admire the cooks behind a glass protection while they prepare your food. They work in a hygienic manner and efficiently. The tandoori ovens do not overwhelm the location with heat. They have a great ventilation system. The serving staff was diligent and polite. It is highly recommended.

We had very nice time with friends. Even we did not have reservations, they show welcoming attitude and got table in 5 minutes with excellent foods.

A great place! I had the grill mix, garlic cheese naan and mint chutney. Everything was delicious from start to finish! The staff was super friendly, very quick also. The Ambiente is also nice. 100% I will eat here again when I visit Stavanger the next time.
