Ribs and chicken is Awesome? Chopped BBQ needs some work need more season and more of a smoked flavor like the chicken and ribs? and the dip they put on there don?t like too much vinegar?. Need to offer BBQ. without the dip? other than food is Awesome View all feedback.
What we like about Port-a-Pit is the great barbeque but especially the ribs. They are NOT greasy, they have good meat. Dry rub at it's best.
Love this place. They have the best smoked wings in NC.

Everything was so delicious and the chicken was tender and came right off the bone the ribs were amazing according to my bf and I’ve had them before and they definitely are! We got squash casserole and Mac n cheese and greensAlways a good local bbq place in Statesville highly recommend them!
Our church recently used Port a Pit for a fundraiser and the smoked chicken leg quarter was the best chicken I have ever had, coming from someone that really isn’t even a fan of chicken. It was so delicious and moist!
