However, the Bison Special was not up to par. Fortunately, the rest of our group of four enjoyed their meals (filling, chicken, and salmon). If you find yourself in downtown Statesboro, Gee Da Table and 40 East Grill are the most stylish and delicious restaurants on the street. Both are perfect options for dining before an event at the Averitt Center for the Arts.

The atmosphere is classy and pleasant, providing a great dining experience. Unfortunately, the bison special was disappointing. However, the rest of our party of four enjoyed their choices of filet, chicken, and salmon. If you find yourself in downtown Statesboro, the top two choices for classy and delicious dining are Gee Da’s Table and 40 East Grill, both located just up the street. These restaurants are ideal, especially if you are attending an event at the Averitt Center for the Arts.
