The cold brew, tea, and lunch are all fantastic at The Below! It's a great spot to come and study in the morning. If you're there on Thursday or Friday, be sure to stay for lunch - it's definitely worth it! View all feedback.
What Nic Mac doesn't like about Nine-twentynine Coffee:
My daughter and I decided to try this place because I needed a caffeine fix and we were in need of some refreshment. We ordered frozen and iced coffees as well as carrot cake, which were all excellent. However, we were surprised to find that there was no food or drinks available for the outside seating area. Additionally, we were served our food and drinks in glassware, but were not given instructions on what to do w... View all feedback.
Lots of space for studying with good breakfast food and coffee. I got the bowl with hash browns, cheese, pico and an egg. Definitely one of the better coffee places in Starkville.
Great atmosphere to study and great food coffee, and tea! Would definitely recommend to a friend check it out, grab the breakfast bowl while you are at it
This is the cutest little coffee shop on Main Street that has a variety of coffee selections as well as very tasty breakfast options, including the breakfast burrito, which I had. I was great! I'm from Texas, so I definitely judge burritos pretty harshly. This one was fresh, loaded with eggs, potatoes, tomatoes, sausage cheese. They open at 7 and by 8, expect it to be buzzing with the locals college students, as they have a downstairs area for overflow with plenty of seating options. Can't wait to come back!
Good and definitely beats a chain. Quick stop on a short trip to the area. Very pleasant people but food was average. Quick service. Waffle was crisp and sweet. Very good. Eggs were just warm. Coffee basic
I was the first one up on Sunday morning, and I didn't want to wake everyone up, so I came here for coffee. I got there just about 9 o'clock and discovered that's when they opened. I got an Americano, sat at the counter and read. My family decided to join me here for breakfast. There a long line, but it moved pretty swiftly. I got a breakfast burrito, and it was pretty good. It came close to the spiciness line where the food becomes so spicy that I can't taste anything else, but it didn't cross the over spiciness border. My daughter got a burrito bowl, and she liked it. It looked like it had more food than the burrito. My son got the Morning Plate, two eggs, sausage, grits and toast. The grits were undercooked...a little gritty. He also said that he wished they had butter for the toast. The employees were friendly and efficient. I was impressed with how quickly the line moved. It's a typical coffee shop, but a little noisy though. It was bigger than I thought; even though it was busy, there were plenty of seats available. I would come here again.
