Gondolier Pizza - Starkville

This restaurant has a lovely ambiance, making it a nice spot for Italian cuisine. We started with fried calamari as an appetizer, which unfortunately fell short in both crispiness and flavor. Three of us ordered the Stromboli, seafood spaghetti, and tortellini with Italian sausage. While the portion sizes were generous, the dishes lacked that “wow” factor. The Italian sausage, however, was quite tasty. For dessert, we enjoyed a Tiramisu that was truly delicious. The restaurant itself is charming and well-maintained. Our waitress was friendly, but we often found ourselves waiting for service. Overall, it’s a nice place worth returning to.

I apologize for the messy picture! I had a fantastic meal at my first stop in town. The dish was simple, but the spaghetti was cooked to perfection and came with a generous serving of marinara sauce. And they offered free breadsticks? Thank you! I’ll definitely return. This place would be perfect for pizza or other dishes. The staff was great too. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

This restaurant is sure to succeed! The prices are quite reasonable; I got a delicious gourmet pizza for just $16 after tax. It was more than enough to satisfy both my girlfriend and me. Our waiter was friendly and engaging, and he mentioned that when you order a pasta dish, it comes with a salad and breadsticks. I would definitely give this place a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and inviting, making it comfortable for dining. Although it can be a bit noisy, we still enjoyed a lovely evening together. One thing to note: since the restaurant has just opened, the service can be a bit slow, but they really do a great job.

On a tour with my daughter to State. We thought something else here. The host was very nice and welcoming. We wanted to see the menu, it was so friendly that we had to stay. The server was nice and efficient. The food was served quickly, hot and right. The pieces were plentiful, and the prices were very fair. If she chooses school, I'm sure I have a visit.

This place was a real surprise. We tried a little of everything from chicken parmigiana to calzone and fettuccine. All of it was delicious and the service was super friendly and attentive. The warm bread sticks were just what we needed after long day walking around. Nice selection of brews and wine so everyone at the table was happy. Will be back soon.
