Western Steer - Starke

This trip couple weeks ago now was actually the best buffet I've had here. The steak was tender and all the sides were fresh. Clam strips tasted a lil old, but overall the buffet was very good.

They have the best country fried steak, and fried chicken recipes around. Their yeast rolls and desert bar are great. Several people keep their food bars very clean. The staff in this place are very friendly, kind and helpful. Our family always enjoys eating here, and we look forward to our visits here.

This place is old run down but MAN THE FOOD STEAK DELICIOUS!! their buffet looked fresh and clean. Our server was Christina and she was very personable and we never had an empty glass. We took a risk by stopping here and it was worth it!!

I absolutely love this restaurant! My family and I come here every week. The food and drinks are always fresh, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff is wonderful. I especially appreciate the older gentleman manager who personally came to our table to check on us. He is not the one with tattoos. During a previous visit, we had a complaint with a staff member who had tattoos on his arms. The manager who didn't care about our overcooked sirloin tips didn't even offer a discount or apology. However, aside from this incident, everything at the restaurant is usually fast and enjoyable. The waitresses are always friendly and accommodating. I was impressed by the older gentleman manager's professionalism and thoughtfulness when he came to our table to ask about our experience. It made us feel like he genuinely cared and wanted to make things right after our previous visit.

I have been dining at this restaurant for over 25 years. Despite having new owners, not much has changed, and I am pleased with that. The buffet is excellent, with delicious food that is kept well stocked. There are plenty of entrees to choose from, along with a full salad and dessert bar. The restaurant offers ample seating and private rooms for parties or business events.
