We enjoyed a couple of drinks before placing our order and then settled down at our table. The menu was extensive, with a strong emphasis on fish and seafood, but they also offered a separate menu with meat options. We started with a prawn cocktail and a crayfish appetizer, both of which were delightful. For our main courses, we chose a generous portion of cod and a sirloin steak. The steak was fantastic, and I appreciated the option to have new potatoes instead of chips. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the cod, remarking on how light the batter was. Although we initially planned to skip dessert, we ultimately succumbed to temptation. I had a meringue topped with fruit and ice cream, while my husband chose a chocolate and coconut cheesecake, which he found delicious. Overall, we had a lovely dining experience, appreciated the friendly atmosphere and staff, and would definitely return.
