This is one of my all-time favorite ice cream shops, I always stop by when I'm at the Rodeo 39 market. The flavors they carry are unique and delicious, they make it hard to choose. They offer samples, which is helpful. My current go-to is the Strawberry Pocky, it tastes exactly like what you would expect. Some of their flavors are on the sweeter side, such as Ube or Brown Sugar. If you're looking for something lighte... View all feedback.
What Melissa Pineda doesn't like about Fika Fika Creamery:
Went yesterday had a horrible customer service from employee Val she was short, impatient and very rude My husband and I usually go and know what flavors we enjoy and have good service but yesterday we took our daughters and she keep insisting if we needed anything else kept asking every 5 seconds just rude they weren't sure about what flavor they wanted. Also, the cone I got was overly cooked I requested a new one.... View all feedback.
I love this place! The flavors you get aren't your typical American flavors. They specialize in Asian flavors that extend beyond matcha or ube. My favorite is the Fiji Apple. It is sweet without being too sweet (the highest praise a girl with asian tastebuds could give). The girl serving it was really nice and helpful. A great place to grab a quick ice cream after you eat at any of the surrounding shops. For $5 it's worth it!
Very unique and delicious asian inspired flavors. Good service, order inside, pay outside right beside. No cash
Plenty of good flavors and too hard to just narrow down. Got their jasmine green milk tea and coconut Ube and both were delicious!!! They are very generous with their scoop
Walking in the small shop already triggered my sweet tooth with the enticing scent of sweet waffles. Got a double scoop matcha strawberry and milk cereal in an Ube cone. The icecream itself was super creamy and I really enjoyed the unique flavors that they had ranging from different Asian flavors. The texture was the ice cream was creamy, but had small little flakes and chunks in there, which I think might be coconut based. Super yummy!
Fika Fika is my favorite ice cream shop in Orange County. It is located in the Rodeo 39 food hall, right near the front to the left. The space is small but the flavors are mighty! They are known for their eclectic rotating variety of Asian inspired flavors. Some of my favorites are their young ube coconut, jasmine green milk tea, and matcha strawberry. I have sampled many others, though, and all of them are good. You can't go wrong.Prices are average $5 for scoop, $1 for a waffle cone, and $1 for split scoop. The waffle cones here are also REALLY good. The come in three flavors rose, ube, and original and they are extra crisp and sturdy. They don't get soggy and flimsy and hold the ice cream very well. Service is fine. The employees here aren't the most chirpy but they are always very patient with samples.I did have one weird encounter recently though my partner and I ordered and sampled together, but the young man working Friday night only gave us one spoon... When I asked for a second spoon, he handed one to me by touching the BOTTOM of the spoon. Eew. I didn't say anything. I think he was just out of it and didn't want to be at work that night.
