The prices are beyond great for what you get. They are a little higher (less than a dollar more) than the most recent menu pictures on here but its still a steal. I got the small beef pho and I couldn't even finish it and it was less than $7. The inside is a little outdated but the food is great and I will d be coming back. View all feedback.
What Tina H doesn't like about Double Bamboo:
a couple points here. I 've been to a lot of pho restaurants and their large pho bowls are usually average but here the large is served in the same bowl as the small with the same portion. im paying extra for what? the waitress here is rude. she brings us our check within 10 minutes of us getting our food. i had wanted to order something else but i already got my check so i didnt. she doesnt even say no rush or anyth... I ordered the pad see ew and I took 2 bites paid and left. I was the first customer of the day and I think the sold me yesterday's food. The broccoli was soft and yellow. The chicken was old. The noodles were not fresh and they seemed more like fettuccine then chow fun. The eggs seemed definitely like a yesterday's dish. Even so, I've had better left over chow fun noodles! It was very bland and I couldn't even tell the noodles had been fried. It was more like fettuccine in a runny broth with old eggs, chicken, and yellow lump broccoli.Maybe they thought I wouldn't know the difference but I know my way around Thai food. In a city of Stanton with large Thai and Vietnamese population, I don't know how they stay in business. This was a very bad experience
Double Bamboo has got to be one of the quaintest Vietnamese/Thai restaurants in OC. The family that runs it works very hard to keep all the classics on the menu. My picky family members always find something they enjoy. Classic No Questions Asked Pho. Wonderful fried rice, appetizers, probably the best Strawberry Smoothie in OC. Recently this restaurant was vandalized while the owners were visiting their family in Asia. Windows were broken into, chairs tables smashed. I have no idea why someone would do this. Please send good vibes their way. If they are able to open again, please send them your business!Vegetarian options: All good.Kid-friendliness: I've seen a lot of families dine here and they looked real happy.Parking: Rather large parking lot nearby.Wheelchair accessibility: I've brought my grandma here with no problems.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free, Vegetarian, Vegan options

It was really good! But it wasn't the best I had. Really good though and fast service!
