The food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable! They also offer a good variety of vegetarian options.
I ordered the pad see ew and after just two bites, I decided to pay and leave. As the first customer of the day, I suspect they sold me food from yesterday. The broccoli was soft and yellow, and the chicken tasted old. The noodles were not fresh at all; they resembled fettuccine more than traditional chow fun. The eggs definitely seemed like they were from a previous day’s dish. Honestly, I've had better leftover chow fun noodles! The dish was extremely bland, and I couldn't even taste any wok hei; it felt more like fettuccine in a watery broth accompanied by the old eggs, chicken, and yellowish lump of broccoli. It seemed like they thought I wouldn't notice the difference, but I know my Thai food well. In a city like Stanton, with a large Thai and Vietnamese community, I don’t understand how they manage to stay in business. This was a truly disappointing experience.
I absolutely love this place! I've been coming here for years. They serve the best pho and have the most wonderful family atmosphere. I really hope they open back up soon!
Unfortunately, the restaurant was recently vandalized while the owners were visiting family in Asia. Windows were shattered, and chairs and tables were destroyed. It's hard to understand why anyone would do such a thing. Let’s send positive vibes their way. If they’re able to reopen, please make sure to support them! As for the details: - **Vegetarian options:** All excellent. - **Kid-friendliness:** I’ve seen many families dining here, and they all seemed very happy. - **Parking:** There’s a fairly large parking lot nearby. - **Wheelchair accessibility:** I've brought my grandmother here without any issues. - **Dietary restrictions:** They offer options for gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan diets.
Here are a few points to consider. I’ve visited many pho restaurants, and their large bowls typically offer a decent amount of food. However, at this place, the large pho is served in the same bowl as the small, with the same portion size. I’m paying extra, but for what? Additionally, the waitress was quite rude. She brought us our check just ten minutes after we received our food, and I had intended to order something else, but since she had already given me the check, I didn’t. She didn’t even offer any reassurance like “no rush” or anything similar, which made me feel very rushed. When no one was trying to get her attention, she was just sitting at an empty table watching videos on her phone at full volume. To make matters worse, the door was constantly open, allowing flies to crawl all over my food. Overall, it was a truly disappointing experience.
