This restaurant boasts a delightful atmosphere. Since the new owners took over a couple of years ago, the food has been quite good. Although the menu is somewhat limited, the warm service and stunning views make dining here worthwhile, particularly during the summer on the waterfront deck. View all feedback.
What Gay Ortiz doesn't like about Clifford Lake Inn:
Zero stars! The service was awful! We waited 10 minutes just to be acknowledged when we arrived. When the server finally came over, they greeted the people in line behind us and completely ignored us. Once we were seated, we waited 40 minutes without anyone coming to take our drink order. Amazing hidden gem. Tucked near the back of Clifford lake it can be accessed by land or boat. Or seaplane. Once you get here enjoy the delicious food offerings, such as a half pound burger or some seafood. Everything on the menu is great. Lots of drinkofferings as well and a wide selection of liquors. You will not be disappointed. Sit outside by the lake or enjoy the niceinterior.

Don’t waste your time or money here!
I suggest you update your hours on your website. Your hours are already quite limited, so it was frustrating to drive an hour only to find a note on your door saying you were closed on Sunday because Monday is the 4th of July. This experience adds to our previous visits. We thought we’d give it one more chance, but unfortunately, we won’t be coming back. The food has always been decent, but the service has consistently fallen short. On a positive note, the scenery is beautiful!
The food was delicious, as always. Shane is an incredible cook, and Kelly is a fantastic hostess!
We had dinner at Clifford Lake Inn tonight, and it was fantastic! The walleye was incredible, as was the vegetable pasta. Our waiter provided outstanding service, and the presentation and flavor of the Spanish coffee were both remarkable. The Kentucky Derby pie was also delicious. We highly recommend this place!
